This position will manage the overall operation of the Portsmouth Campus Welcome Center including campus switchboard, answer desk operations, publication distribution and inventory, as well as part-time and student worker supervision and scheduling. |
| FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a part of the Student Services Team, the Welcome Center Supervisor will be a resource for the community by providing quality services to assist and empower individuals and groups in defining and accomplishing career, educational, personal, and organizational goals that positively enrich their lives. Functions of this position include assisting with the implementation of prospective student services. Responsible for the delivery of front desk reception and telephone services, as well as responding to general inquiries and making referrals to appropriate campus offices as needed. |
| REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: |

Skilled in the use of personal computers including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Knowledge of student information databases. Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments as directed. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional customer relations skills. Ability to plan, organize, and schedule. Supervision, collaboration, and teamwork skills. |
| PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: |
| |
Public relations experience. Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and experience. |
| HOURS: |
| |
8:30AM – 5:00PM to include the ability to work some evenings and weekends as required. |

Commensurate with qualifications. Position is in Pay Band three. The College offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. |
