Tidewater Community College invites applications and nominations for the positions listed below. Located in America’s First Region—historic Hampton Roads, a metropolitan region of 1.6 million residents—TCC is the largest provider of higher education and workforce development services in the region, enrolling over 39,000 credit students annually. The nation's thirty-fifth largest community college, TCC is among the twenty fastest-growing large two-year institutions in the United States.

Founded in 1968 as a part of the Virginia Community College System, TCC serves the region with campuses in the cities of Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach, and with regional visual arts, performing arts, and advanced technology centers. Forty-five percent of the service area’s residents who attended a college or university in Virginia last fall were enrolled at TCC. The college is a comprehensive institution offering more than 150 academic programs, including a full complement of college transfer and career & technical education, workforce training and development, and general community enrichment and outreach. In 2004 and 2005, TCC was ranked one of Hampton Roads’ 25 best places to work by Inside Business.
